Plastic Chevrons marked the current obvious trail. Gets the hiking spirit rolling!

When I started hiking I read a Mogollon Rim newspaper supplement that mentioned boy scouts of yesteryear marking trails with chevrons. Proofreading my triplog I question if I spelled it correctly. Googling I found little results for "chevron trail markers" and variations with blazes. Most from AZ but google might give results based on location. So I utilized Deep Search on the HAZ homepage and found Sredfield used the word so I rested easy. Still curious if a trendsetter in AZ dubbed the term.
