When there's no snow, this is a grassy meadow with a creek. It's no less scenic under a blanket of snow.
Just 3 miles west of the continental divide, this tributary drains into Walton Creek, which ends at the Yampa River, which ends at the Green River (near where Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming meet), before flowing into the Colorado and making its way to the Arizona Wilderness beer-making operation in Gilbert via the CAP's Hayden-Rhodes Aqueduct.
