Here along the northern edge of the Table Top expanse, a line of trees along with a thick growth of underbrush, have both appeared to have found a refuge in the slightly shaded ground. Maybe water hangs on a bit longer on the northern side. Capital Butte, another famous formation, sits in the background on the left.
