very cool cabin at Johnson's in St Mary's. When we made reservations we basically would go to different sites every day and book something. Then we would continue to shop until we got the location and price we wanted. St Mary Lodge had no fee cancellation and everyone else, except KOA, had a $10 or $15 fee. We even had Many Glacier campground booked for the whole time in case we couldn't get rooms. The best deal was at Red Eagle Motel which is right next to Johnson's but be sure to get an upstairs room if you want to avoid noisy folks above you.
