Just when it was getting snazzy, Bruce had planned to get out the canyon(left) to check out Lucky Tanks. He claimed the geology looked intriguing on satellite. The tanks turned out to be a dud. We were within a half of a mile from the General Crook Trail, so methinks he was having a Los Lomitas moment.
