Now I'm back near where I parked at 55th Ave and Pinnacle Peak Road on the southeastern side of the park (if you think of it as three quadrants). This is the Flatlander Trail. In the top photo is looking east at the junction of the Coachwhip (which you take to Arrowhead Point Trail) and the Flatlander Trail heading east. It's about a mile horseshoe pattern. The lower left is looking up the side of the mountain and the lower right is looking up the SW side of the mountain where apparently a fire went through.
