Somewhere close to here there is ground being broken for Sunlit Chemical, a Taiwanese company that supplies chemicals used in the production of semiconductors broke ground on its first U.S. manufacturing facility in north Phoenix in 2022.

Construction on Sunlit Chemical’s 900,000-square-foot plant is underway on 17 acres near Seventh Avenue and Happy Valley Road.

The company is expected to invest $100 million in the project in two phases.
