No clue. Yesterday I assumed it was some sort of acacia but it seems soft and clawless. Odd there is just one. Walked right by it trying to find it today. My second thought was turpentine bush but that seems off. The area is ultra-popular for taking breaks but doubt anything from a dropped seed would grow with the lack of recent moisture. Even the elephant tree on the middle summit died in recent years.
