Left photos are at Don's Mai Tai Bar in the Royal Kona Resort. The UL was our flight of Mai Tais after I had tried the Classic Mai Tai (LL), still not the winner.

The flight: L to R -
Green Flash made with Cruzan Mango Rum, Melon Liquer, pineapple juice, orange juice, soda.
Topless Mai Tai made with Cruzan Coconut Rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, orgeat, topped with Cruzan Mango Rum (pretty tasty),
Volcanic Mai Tai made with Don Q 151 Rum, amaretto, orgreat, pineapple juice, orange juice, grenadine, Potters Dark Rum Float (it was really strong) and
not normally on the flight: Mai Tai Rita made with Herradura Blanco tequila, pineapple juice, orgeat, fresh local lime, Potters Dark Rum Float (it was pretty darn good).

Then we moved on to Island Lava Java where the others had a Mai Tai but I wanted to try the Kona-Tini. I couldn't imagine how the ingredients would taste but it was delish: Hawaiian coconut vodka, organic espresso, Kona coffee liquer, fresh pineapple juice.

LR: Mia had a Pina Colada at Don's Mai Tai Bar.

FYI Orgeat syrup is a sweet syrup made from almonds, sugar, and rose water or orange flower water. It was originally made with a barley-almond blend. It has a pronounced almond taste and is used to flavor many cocktails. Orgeat syrup is an important ingredient in the Mai Tai and many Tiki drinks
