Bridge over South Fork Bishop Creek. A lady day hiker that passed me coming up the trail along the east side of South Lake crossed the bridge while I was getting in position to take this photo. She had already been up to Treasure Lakes and was on her way back to the trailhead. A common experience for me on trails above 10k elevation, people who passed me on the way up pass me on their way back down while I'm still struggling up the trail. Here in the Sierras they're usually people who live in the area above 7k ft so are acclimated to the altiude.
