This picture captures the driving challenges in the areas near Petrified Forest National Park. Trains, livestock, mud, but the worst is private property/locked gates. I know from a previous visit two weeks ago that just down the road over the track crossing the road is gated. Today I was going to look if it was also posted No Trespassing. But the horses and mud made me turn around here and not waste my time. Half an hour later I saw (from a distance) a BNSF convoy with an excavator stopped here with the lead driver out negotiating passage with the horses.
