Fremont view across to Doyle. The fire just made it over the ridge before stopping. As I understand it, conditions on the day this all burned was so windy that no air resources or firefighting efforts were utilized. The wind drove it up the slope, and once it reached the ridge, conditions weren't conducive to pushing the flames further.
