This in-view Pine Tree (see tag note) is "White/Pink Taped" and is the recommended beginning (Hike Start) and end (Hike End) for this Out N Back Hike. This hike route agrees with the hike "back" section of the posted, Gps Route for Oregon_Hiker and Grasshopper's 10/14/22 hike. A large section of this is an active, recommended Cattle Route hiking track, easier to follow going into this dense vegetation Salome Wilderness area.
