LL Pearly Everlasting Anaphalis margaritacea, commonly known as the western pearly everlasting or pearly everlasting, is an Asian and North American species of flowering perennial plant in the family Asteraceae. (I didn't realize is was a member of the aster family)
LR Twisted Stalk It is typically found in moist, shady mountain forests and streamsides. Like other monocots, twisted stalk has parallel-veined leaves with smooth margins. Flowers are relatively small and consist of six greenish-white tepals (sepals and petals that are of similar size, color, and texture).
