Following the marker flags I came to an area with rock pile rows but it was not clear that the marker flags had anything to do with these rock rows. Evidence of ancient habitation? The rocks appear too small to be collapsed rock walls. Related to ancient Indian agriculture? But why would they be growing things up here when there was deep rich soil along the river below? A mystery.
