Some of the flora besides poppies. Brittlebush was starting to bloom and of course there was Scorpionweed (top photo) but there was a nice surprise thrown in, though hard to photograph, Filaree. Filaree is pretty, but small. However, there would be some pretty good-sized patches on this side of the Preserve.
