It was nice walking around on top of this "first mesa" which was almost completely guarded by vertical cliff edge. The second (higher adjacent) mesas, like the one on the left were similarly guarded. Though I hoped for good petroglyph hunting on this mesa top I saw only a couple small/faint ones and I didn't try to get on the higher mesas.
