We saw a few scattered Monument Plants including a couple at camp. I didn't realize it's called Elkweed, oh and Deers Ears which is what I remember calling it on the AZT when we saw it.

Frasera speciosa is one of the tallest non-shrublike flowering plants of the western mountains, sometimes exceeding six feet. The stout, rigid, unbranched stem and the long, clustered green leaves are generally hairless but may have a fine, soft hair covering.
