This is not the best picture (1967) but gives you a good sense of the property and addition of shrubs. The street is now paved. The house and grounds were well known. My parents provided lots of work for the neighbor kids. My mom was from California and they had moved off the Chester farm in 1960 (so that we could go to school in a town) where it was hard to grow anything, so she made up for it.
