There were 3 or 4 of these owls at the top of the Cat Peaks. I stopped to tie my shoe and I heard them hooting so I knew they weren't hawks. I could see this one sitting at the top and zoomed in a much as I could to get a decent shot and got this. It's better than I thought it would be.
