We are making our way east to access the wash to the east. This is looking backat the ruins. I can't remember now what Wendy called these soil mounds in the very front of the foreground. These mounds help keep the ground in-tact so that the soil won't just blow away. It's very interesting stuff that I wouldn't have paid much mind to until Wendy pointed it out.
