We believe this is the first time we've seen a Queen of the Night in the wild. I had one of these growing up and when we moved 35 years ago I dug it up to take to our new home. I was surprised that it didn't have a root but a huge ball like a jicama and about the size of a football. Amazing when you consider it's trunk is the size of your little finger.
