Some of the remaining buildings at the old abandoned Kirwin mining town. Some of the buildings are being restored or at least maintained by a volunteer group. About 200 people lived here at its peak in 1904. But the gold mines never proved to be profitable and the town died by about 1914. See photo #10 for a timeline of the history of the town.
