[ Mine Mountain ] stands out well along this hike. The majority of HAZr's have driven beside it en route to Lone Pine Saddle.

The surrounding battlefield of sunrise/sunset gunfire and full-throttle ATVs by day doesn't entice many. I hiked it twice in July '06 to avoid 'em. The bulletproof gem is safe. I do not recommend hiking in the heat, consuming fat/salt, posting in the HAZ Forum, etc.
