Actually taken on May 30, 2009. I took this in the second saddle around 12,000'. This is the famous endangered plant of the Peaks. Later in summer it gets yellow flowers on it. I'll get some pics when they begin to flower and post them in this, or another set. Look for this plant along the upper portions of the Weatherford trail that runs on the side of Agassiz facing the Inner Basin, it is very abundant right on the trail there.
