It was a perfect morning for a hike. When Van and I reached the trailhead we were the second car there awesome.
We headed up Hieroglyphics Trail and it was nice to see no one else on the trail. After we reached the Hieroglyphics I took a few pictures. The water was running slowly down into a few small pools. We decided to head up to Balancing Rock. As we ascended up the canyon we were rewarded with some great views all around us. This was my first time going up this way so Van lead the way.
We did meet one hiker on Peak 5057 after that we did not see anyone until we descended down Hieroglyphics Canyon. And of course they were all at the Hieroglyhics trying to translate the drawings as we headed back to the parking lot.
