I really had planned on a longer hike but after a couple of miles Rowdy seemed to be struggling. At that point I decided on a few more breaks and to head back. I do not like seeing him struggling on a hike. So we cut it short and headed home.
The hike was still very enjoyable and what I enjoyed the most was seeing all the Ironwood blooming not to mention the Saguaros.
Will have to come back on another cooler day. A short but very enjoyable hike.
I did spot a couple of birds that I am not sure what they are but I will figure it out.
