Excellent loop starting from the Carson Pass trailhead on Hwy 88. Went clockwise on good trails with lots of water, greenery and flowers. South a few miles on the PCT, then west on Summit City Canyon trail and back north past 4th of July, Round Top and Winnemucca Lakes. Also took a side trip up 10,381' Round Top peak.

Solid peak hike. Started from the Summit trailhead just off Hwy 140 rather than drive the dirt road to the closer trailhead. Followed the PCT for a few miles through deep forest at the start, then a steady climb towards the peak with great views above treeline. Good trail, the last thousand vertical feet to the 9495' summit is best done by staying right on the ridgeline.

Return to finish off this great peak hike, starting from the Bennie Creek trailhead on the Nebo Scenic Loop. Above treeline the trail steadily climbs grassy ridges to the rocky summit with great views.

On the way back went up and over the top of Loafer Mountain. Also checked out the Grotto Falls trail near the same trailhead - lovely, but overwhelmed by July 4 visitors.

Excellent peak hike via North Peak trail, starting from the Monument trailhead. The final ridgeline to the summit is visually intimidating but easy Class 3. Gorgeous summer greenery.

Thanks to @chumley for putting together the fun 3-peak route, always nice to do something different on The Peaks. Not sure I'd call Schultz a peak, but it's a cool area for sure.

Up and back down Sitgreaves from the west just off FR74 - straightforward, ever-steepening route, great 2.5 hour workout. Then a nice drive over to visit my old friend Kendrick again - the mountain is still quite green, a little surprised that no one was up in the lookout tower scanning for fires.

Checked out the trail upgrade via mtn bike, riding SOBO. The new sections are smooth, fun flow, very nice. The original sections still remind you that you're in A-rock-zona. Nice greenery, and most of the tanks I saw had usable water.

From the Andante trailhead took the Lizardhead trail over towards the ridge, staying high and contouring around until intersecting the climbers trail, then up to the summit on a very nice route. Next, drove over to the Soldier Pass trailhead for a quick trip up Morning Glory, a steep slog to a fantastic summit. Finished with a short jaunt up SP66 to check out the arch caves, yet another very cool AZ place. A fine Sedona day.

Took Mack's Crossing over to the far rim and SW on FR137 to drop in at Horse Crossing, then downstream along scenic ECC. Fairly easy walking for the most part and not too brushy. The Tinder fire 2 years ago caused lots of damage but there's still plenty of beauty in the canyon.

As I was returning downstream to Mack's I was amazed to see a large pickup inching its way down the east side road above me, and we arrived at the crossing at the same time. They had started down from the rim and eventually couldn't back uphill or turn around - you guessed it, "our GPS told us this was a shortcut". They were able to turn around in the creek, hopefully they made it back up and out.

Fantastic canyon! Just the right amount of clean, clear flow and the perfect combination of cool water and warm air temps. Bike shuttle.

5-star CCW loop from Miller Creek trailhead. Road walked to the TC trailhead and on up, then north on FLT, back down thru Manning Camp on the AZT, over on DB, down HR and MC. Definitely warmer and drier than 2 weeks ago but still very pleasant. Lovin' the east-side Rincons!

Awesome, relentless climb to a great summit. Lots of flowing water on the way up, including in the Happy Valley saddle and campground area. Nice overcast day, rain held off until the afternoon.

Dragoon sampler, with great at-large camping on the east side. Over and back on CS279 in the morning, nice views of the rock formations and flowing water in the creeks. Then over to the west side in the afternoon for SG332, a fun little route that's a little rough but not hard to follow.

Drove over from the east side on FR 42 to the nearly deserted national monument. Clockwise around the loop with side hikes to Inspiration and Heart of Rocks. Fantastic!

On the way out the ranger was closing the gate at the entrance station - cars were no longer allowed in, but road walking or biking in is still allowed (2 miles to the visitor center).

Morning hike up Silver Peak on an excellent trail. Then over to beautiful South Fork in the afternoon - went upstream about 3.5 miles, turned around as the canyon narrowed and the scrambling increased.

Backpack trip to break in some new gear. From Sunflower NOBO on AZT22 to Peeley, down DC45, back up on GR47, return. Very green and wet, with lots of clean flow at numerous places along AZT22, and Deer Creek was roaring. Upper DC45 continues to slowly deteriorate, unfortunate as its a brilliant trail and a beautiful canyon.

Even with constant vehicle and gun noise, this is still a fine little peak hike. Lots of flowers, with the very top of the peak blanketed in Owl Clover. And no need for social distancing, just me and the missus on the trail.

This loop has been on my list a long time but I didn't want to do the drive to Sheep Bridge. So I started at Horseshoe Dam Thursday afternoon and packed north on FR479 to Sheep Bridge, day hiked the loop clockwise Friday, packed back to Horseshoe Saturday morning. Excellent loop, lots of greenery and nicely flowing water in several drainages. Typical west-side Mazzie "trails" but nothing too unpleasant.
