A very nice hike with Pete! Didn't go to the main ruins because it was so busy with people. Instead we bushwhacked up and explored some of the cave ruins high up on the North side of the trail. Found some old walls, a little bit of pottery, lots of smoke marks on the walls, and some amazing views. Also found some scat that looked like mountain lion (yes there is an iPhone app for everything). Took only cactus thorns, cats claw scars, photos and memories. :-)

A great hike in the Mazatzals with Uncle Mike. It was cool in the morning - about 52 degrees when we started out. We drove the TH in my jeep with the top off. It took about 75 minutes to get there from Shea/101. We hiked to the Mazatzal Divide trail and then just turned back.

Walked the strip solo from Mandalay Bay to almost Circus Circus. Walked back a ways, had some awesome pork tacos, and then took a $6 bus ride back to Mandalay Bay. With the circuitous route of walking on the strip, it was 5.5 miles!

Solo hike today. Did the hills in 25min35sec. Had to retie my bootlace. I think I lost 2 min. Took the ridge all the way to the CCC shelter at the end of the old Pima road. A great hike.
