Walked around Fremont Street. Went to the Golden Nugget and saw the water slide that goes through the shark tank. Walked to a couple of casinos. Lost $20 on blackjack!

Saw the Pawn Stars pawn shop, but didn't stop. Long line.

Then took the monorail to the MGM Grand, placed a few bets at the sports book (Packers 10-1 for Superbowl), checked out New York New York, Tropicana, Monte Carlo, Bellagio, Miracle Mile, Harrah's, & Paris.

Stayed at the LVH for two nights.

A great trip with Sheri. Ate at Bouchon in the Venetian. Bar in the Casino Royale next to the Venetian and connected to a Denny's served $1 beers on a Friday night. The only place I know of on the Strip. :)

I took the girls and we hiked along FR22 and Sycamore Creek. We went to the rope swing area and had a blast. Thanks to my buddy Ken and his son Nate for hanging out with us. It was a great time!

The girls carried camelbaks for the first time. They each went through 2 liters of water on our 3 mile hike! We had to stop a lot. :) It was a whole lot of fun. We stopped at Taco Bell in Fountain Hills on the way back. I ordered 10 tacos for the three of us and they were all eaten. Ha! :)

A great morning hike with Seth. We did the hills in 22+min. Seth and I did the next hill of Marcos de Niza. We had to park in the neighborhood as the gate wasn't open at 5:10AM. This added some distance to the hike.

A great morning hike with Seth and Pete! We saw a different coyote at the same spot as yesterday. We did the hills in 21min19sec. Seth and I did the next hill of Marcos de Niza. We did a part of the ridge above Pima wash on the way back. A great morning.

A fun hike to see some ruins with my family. I'm going to venture to guess that my girls (ages 6 and 8 ) might be the youngest to see such ruins in quite a while. They weren't fans of the prickly pear, but they were real troopers! :) I am so proud of them!!!

We did it!!! :y: What a great Trans-Wilderness hike!
This was a bucket list hike for my Uncle Mike and I. We didn't break any speed records. :) We spent a lot of time taking pictures and enjoying the scenery. What a beautiful hike! We made the top of Flatiron in 2hr17min which is pretty good for us. I carried 7 liters of water and went through 5.5 liters. I think it got up to 80 degrees... It was supposed to be 85 in the valley.

Memo to self: Don't go down Carney Springs again. Going up is fine, but going down on rubbery legs just stinks.

Special thanks to my buddy Patrick who dropped us off at the Mining Camp Restaurant and picked us up at Carney Springs TH. It made all the difference.
