It's a 6-mile (one way) multi-use path (asphalt/gravel) that is relatively flat until the final mile, which gains about 300 ft. The path travels along the Lower Crystal Springs Reservoir and connects with the San Andreas trail to the North and Crsytal Springs trail to the South. The view varies from open mountain scenery to dense wooded creek bottoms. Wildlife was abundant, I saw numerous deer, squirrels, vultures, jays, and even a salamander. I'll be back out there for sure! |
