Great weather again. I saw about a dozen people, and at least half of them were horseback. Didn't stop at all even though I lugged a 3-legged stool the entire way. The wildflowers are really coming out now, and this weekend should be spectacular. I'm glad we got those last few storms.
I enjoyed the serpentine geology and its associated vegetation. The non-serpentine areas has what's called a "melange" geomorphology, and it has grassland or forest while the serpentine areas are characterized by manzanita and the stunted Sargent cypress. Definitely a cool area.
