Belated post. Was going to do an official right up for this trail, but lost my notes, and figured I should just log the trail while I could remember what I could. I did this trail way back in March (I think). Started from the Girdner TH off of Dry Creek RD. The Girdner TH is probably about 3 miles in from highway 89 on the left hand side of the road, (just after the entry point for parking for Devils Bridge). There's enough parking there for about 4 cars. It was a little over .8 miles in from this point to connect to the Two Fence Trail.

The Two Fence Trail takes off from the Girdner heading primarily in an east direction. The trail does mild twisting and turning as it does a gentle climb towards Dry Creek Road. The sharpest climbs occurred primarily as I traversed the washes. I recall 3 of them (there may have been a couple of even more minor ones), most of which involved the same wash. There was only one brief instance of Sedona red rock. Most of the trail was compact dirt with a couple of stony sections. Sometimes it's a mystery where a trail gets its name. Not so in this case. As the trail approached Dry Creek Rd it becomes boardered by two fences. So you are pretty much going up chute for the last .3 miles or so.....No getting lost on this trail! This trail ends, ironically, at Dry Creek Rd. with its own TH. I would guestimate that it is about 2-2.5 miles in on the left hand side of the road, with enough parking for 3-4 cars. (Basically, driving slowly along this road will allow you to see small wooden signs indicating where trails start or may cross the road). The surrounding views are beautiful, but minimal for Sedona. Many of the of the other Sedona trails will offer better views and a better experience of what it means to hike in Sedona. The Two Fence Trail is only about .7 miles long. I did this hike as an in and out, so round trip it was just over 3 miles.
