3CIII Canyoneering trip through Middle Oak Creek, rappels to 80 ft. May be combined with Lower Oak Creek. Exit at Lower Oak Creek drop in.


Be careful of rappelling in high flow waterfalls, it can be dangerous if you are not prepared. I would advise against beginners doing this canyon. You will need a wetsuit.

    High Clearance possible when dry

    To canyon trip
    From Ouray, take 3rd avenue west to Oak, Oak bends north, turn west on Queen. Turn south and drive up Pinecrest Blvd to the parking area at the end where the road is closed. High clearance is required. Regular vehicles could park at the a small parking area at the intersection of Queen and Pinecrest.
