May 2011 Got to the Grand Canyon Village about 9pm Thursday, no one was collecting entry fees - lucky me. Slept in the car and took the 5am Hikers Shuttle to South Kaibab TH. The bus was full of people, packed with hikers. It was 37F, nice and cold... great
