This little loop now has a name! by adenium Overview
This little loop has been here for a long time, but has been upgraded to an interpretive loop. This is an excellent place to bring those relatives from out-of-town for a brief and relatively easy Sonoran Desert experience. Hike This is a short loop on mostly level ground into the valley east of Pass Mountain. The skyline is dominated by the line of Pass Mountain to the west and an unnamed ridge to the south and east.
The route begins at the Meridian Trailhead, a rough dirt parking area. Four interpretive signs are placed along the route and give a brief geologic history of the area. The loop joins three other local trails for longer trips. Check out the Official Route and Triplogs.
