Overview
Last Chance Canyon Trail #226 is a 6 mile round trip hike with 1,659 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 30 miles west-southwest of Carlsbad New Mexico. April and October are the best months to enjoy this hike.


Trail follows the magnificent canyon bottom of Last Chance Canyon and is 6.2 miles long. It begins at Trail 68 and ends at Forest Road 277C. The trail is open for the following uses: Hiking, Horseback Riding
