Overview: This geologically interesting area is the result of several earthquakes in 1954. Along the exposed fault line the earth has offset from six to twenty feet.

    To hike
    East of Fallon, Nevada. From the intersection of U.S. 50 and SR 361, 5.4 miles west to gravel road marked by sign to Fairview Peak Earthquake faults that runs south only off of Highway 50. Drive six miles to trailhead. No facilities.
