    To canyon trip
    Highway 50 east of Carson City, Nv to Dayton, Nv. Turn south on Dayton Valley Road. Make another quick right immediately after the river bridge and continue to the sign "Rodeo Arena" and turn left. Take road straight when paved portion veers right to rodeo grounds. Continue up to microwave towers and turn right. Continue straight bearing left at unmarked intersections. Go around right side of knob hill then continue straight another half mile and park by fence.
