See HAZ Post: (Rug Road - Mammoth to Klondyke to Hwy 70) for detailed driving directions. Access is from upper Oak Grove Canyon, via the Rug Road from either Mammoth or Klondyke. Car-camping is available along upper Oak Grove Canyon under large live oak and sycamore.
