Overview: Historic toll road trail from Iowa Hill, Ca to the north fork of the American River. Minor remains are all that is left of the suspension bridge that crossed the river.

    To hike
    From I-80 exit 135 Colfax, go to south frontage which is North Canyon Way. Go west two blocks to Iowa Hill Road. Go south 8.7 miles on Iowa Hill Road. The trail is signed and starts behind the small tavern and country store. Park across the street.
