Syllabus
Old Caves Circumference Loop is a 3.7 mile round trip hike with 480 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 8 miles northeast of Flagstaff Arizona. The trailhead is car accessible. October and May are the best months to enjoy this hike.


Overview: Easy stroll through old growth ponderosa forest around the base of Old Caves Crater

    To hike
    Head North from Flagstaff via HWY 89. A mile or two after you leave the city limits you will come to a traffic light at Silver Saddle Rd. Turn right onto Silver Saddle and less than a mile down the road you will find the trailhead parking lot on your left.
