Overview: From Chantry Flat trailhead walk the paved road to Robert's Camp, cross the bridge and go up the Big Santa Anita Canyon along the creek to the 50 ft waterfall. It is supposedly perennial but the best time is spring. There will be 3 creek crossings made of boulders and logs, make the 4th crossing just below the falls to get a better view. Big Sanat Anita Canyon is a home to about 80 historic cabins that are owned, used and preserved by private individuals. These cabins are the only left from the canyon cabin era of first half of 20th century.
