Overview: Nice, leisurely hike close to town with amazing views from the top. You start out on a paved path with lots of families, but you soon leave them behind when you cross into Sloan Canyon NCA and hit the real trail. The trail is easy to follow and runs mostly along the ridge line up toward the Black Mountain peak.

Check out the Triplogs.

Note
This is a more difficult hike. It would be unwise to attempt this without prior experience hiking.
