Syllabus
Bear Creek Canyon - Ouray is a 5 mile round trip canyon trip with 1,600 feet elevation gain. Located 35 miles south-southeast of Montrose Colorado. Trailhead access is via a dirt road which is typically car accessible when dry. August and September are the best months to enjoy this activity. This hike involes off trail navigation. Review triplogs, photos and the route to understand the terrain before heading out.
