Syllabus
Nordenskiold Site #16 is a 1.75 mile round trip hike with 193 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 37 miles west of Durango Colorado. The trailhead is car accessible. May and October are the best months to enjoy this hike.


Overview: Beginning at Wetherill Mesa Kiosk, take the trail for Badger House Community, which heads south. When the trail comes to a T, head right (west). The designated trailhead is across the tram road. From here, the viewpoint is another .5 miles one-way.


Only open Memorial Day to Labor Day.
