    To hike
    U.S. Highway 395 south of Minden, Nevada. At the south end of town turn east at a stoplight marked Pine Nut Road. Take Pine Nut Road east to Pine Nut Creek. The unmarked road continues to the south following Pine Nut Creek. At three miles the road crosses Pine Nut Creek to the East side. Continue on Two miles to trailhead.
