Overview: Historic mining area. The dredging that took place in this area seems to have been an equal to hydraulic mining in terms of environmental damage, take a look at the area on google maps. Regardless the dredge is an awesome accomplishment of a machine. There is an awesome 1800's steam engine train ride here also.
