Ludden Mountain is a 2.3 mile round trip hike with 1,281 feet accumulated elevation gain. Located 10 miles north of Glendale Arizona. The trailhead is car accessible. February and January are the best months to enjoy this hike. This hike involes off trail navigation. Review triplogs, photos and the route to understand the terrain before heading out.
Off-trail hike through cholla fields and up loose rocky slopes to the summit of Ludden Mountain. A very different experience compared to the crowded trails of nearby Thunderbird Park.
