    To hike
    Take U.S. 395 south toward Carson City. Exit 57B for U.S. 395 south toward Carson City/Virginia City/South Lake Tahoe and merge onto U.S. 395. Take the North Carson Street/U.S. 395 Business ramp. Merge onto North Carson Street/U.S. 395. Go through Carson City and take a slight right on U.S. 50. The beach entrance is about 19 miles on the right-hand side of U.S. 50, past Zephyr Cove and three miles north of Stateline. This is forest service land leased out to a family who runs this beach/marina-$8.00 parking fee.
